Pakistan’s tea imports increases by 2.21% to $192 million throughout 4MFY23

ISLAMABAD: The tea imports witnessed a rise of 2.21% throughout the primary four months of the present financial year as compared to the corresponding month of last year.

The tea imports from July-October (2022-23) were recorded at $192.474 million against the imports of $188.304 million from July-October (2021-22), in keeping with knowledge from the Asian nation Bureau of Statistics (PBS).

The overall food imports into the country accrued by nine.71% throughout the primary four months of the present financial year and were recorded at $3,431.022 million against $ 3,127.240 million in July-October (2021-22).

The exports throughout the amount accrued by 0.94% to $9,549 million as compared to the exports of $9,460 million throughout the corresponding amount of last year.
